PE Faculty Leader for September 2020

Salary: Main or Upper Pay Scale (including London Fringe allowance) with TLR 2c (£6,831)

Haileybury Turnford is a rapidly improving school.  We require an ambitious PE teacher to lead our collegiate and supportive PE team.  This is a full-time, permanent post for a PE teacher to make a real difference and to be part of the decision-making process as we embark on the planning phase to replace our existing indoor sporting facilities and upgrade our Astro-turf facilities.  The successful candidate will be line managed by the school’s Director of Teaching & Learning, and be a member of the Middle Leadership Team.  There will also be excellent support from the school’s professional development programme to suit the needs of the successful candidate.

Teacher of Drama for April 2020 (maternity cover)

Part-time or Full-time

Salary: Main or Upper Pay Scale (including London Fringe allowance) with the potential for a TLR depending on responsibilities

We give a lot of attention to appointing the right person.

For shortlisted candidates, on arrival you will usually meet the Principal or Vice Principal. We will give you chance to see the school, talk to students and meet colleagues. When appointing new teachers, we always observe you teaching a lesson. We may also ask you to mark some students’ work or to write an email to a parent/carer. The interview itself will last no more than 30 minutes after which you will usually be free to leave: we will telephone you later in the day with the outcome of the interview process and offer verbal feedback to all candidates.
