Best ever English and Maths results for Haileybury Turnford Year 11 students
Students are celebrating today at Haileybury Turnford in Cheshunt as GCSE and other vocational qualification results are published.
Principal, Robin Newman, said, “We are delighted for our students who have been rewarded for their hard work and should be very pleased with their results today. The Class of 2025 has achieved the school’s best ever English and Maths results as well as success across the whole range of subjects. It was lovely that many staff were able to celebrate with students in school this morning and we wish our students well as they continue their studies at sixth form or college, or begin an apprenticeship or work.”
Year Achievement Coordinator for Year 11, Charlotte Bilsby, said, “We are incredibly proud of the successes of our Year 11 students today across their GCSE and vocational qualifications. Their results are a testament to their hard work, resilience and determination, and it has been wonderful to see so many smiles as they collected their results and celebrated this morning.”
Amongst the highest achievers were Ama Ampiaw, Kai Baptiste, Rosie Hill, Cihan Kas, Macdonald Oduro and Britney Siaw, all receiving a very high number of top grades.
Robin Newman added “there are so many other students with results that have set them up very well for their step beyond Year 11, and we celebrate with them all. We look forward to working with very many of our Year 11 students in our sixth form next year and hearing about college and the world of work from other students exploring different pathways beyond Haileybury Turnford”.
Haileybury Turnford Year 13 students celebrate with excellent destinations
Haileybury Turnford is proud to announce the many excellent achievements of its Year 13 students, who have received their A Levels and vocational qualifications.
Robin Newman, Principal, said: “We are incredibly proud of our Year 13 students. They have shown resilience, determination and a real commitment to their studies, supported by our excellent staff team. They have secured a range of excellent destinations.”
Among the many success stories, Emma Cooper will study English at King’s College London, Megan Cantwell will study Chemistry at the University of Warwick, Melissa McIrvine will study Bioveterinary Sciences at the University of Reading, Billy Fairclough has secured a Degree Apprenticeship in Global Markets & Business Management at J.P. Morgan, Reece Selby has secured a Degree Apprenticeship at Buzzacott, an Accountancy Firm in London, and Lukas Sinkevicius has secured a Degree Apprenticeship as an Engineer with the National Grid.
Navpreet Shivalkar, Head of Sixth Form, said: “It is fantastic to see our students reaching the destinations of their choice including the increasing number of our students who have been successful in securing degree apprenticeships.”
