Our Head Students

Hear from our Head Students 2025/26

“I study A Level Politics, History, and Economics, and after Sixth Form I hope to pursue a career in politics and the media. I joined Haileybury Turnford at the start of Year 12 from another local school – my experience here has been great. The teachers and students welcomed me with open arms, and I know that if I ever need advice, support, or simply someone to listen, I have people I can turn to.

Haileybury Turnford has provided me with so many opportunities; one of the most memorable being a once in a lifetime trip to Australia. Thanks to the generosity of the Britain-Australia Society Education Trust (BASET), I have been able to spend a month in Melbourne and Darwin, where I met some amazing people from all walks of life and gained experiences I would never otherwise have had.

Being part of such a supportive and ambitious school community has shaped me both academically and personally, and I am proud to represent Haileybury Turnford as Head Student.”  Ellie, Head Student

I’m incredibly proud to be part of Haileybury Turnford; a vibrant, inclusive, and ambitious school community. Since Year 7, the school has helped me grow both academically and personally. I’ve been guided by dedicated teachers who inspired me to aim high and believe in myself. Through a wide range of opportunities and ongoing support, I’ve built confidence, developed leadership skills, and gained a strong sense of responsibility. Haileybury Turnford has played a key role in shaping who I am today – confident, prepared, and ready to embrace the next chapter. Sean, Head Student
