Rewards and Awards

At Haileybury Turnford, we are passionate about inspiring and celebrating effort and achievement in all forms. We believe that every student has the potential to excel, and our reward system is designed to recognise and celebrate those efforts. Students are regularly acknowledged in assemblies, where they are congratulated for their hard work, dedication, and personal growth. They earn Achievement Points and House Points as tangible symbols of their success, motivating them to continuously strive for their best.

By providing these rewards, we create an environment where students are not only encouraged to engage fully with their learning but are also recognised for their unique contributions. Whether it’s through academic accomplishments, commitment to homework, or involvement in community and co-curricular activities, every achievement matters. These rewards are more than just incentives – they are a reflection of the value we place on each student’s individual journey toward success.

Students are also given the opportunity to participate in a broader community, learning the importance of social responsibility through charity and community-focused activities. This helps them develop not only as respectful students but as compassionate, engaged citizens of our community.

The total of House Points is calculated on a monthly basis, creating a sense of friendly competition that feeds into the annual House Competition, fostering team spirit and unity across the school.

To further celebrate the outstanding efforts of our students, we are continuously expanding our recognition programs. We ensure that every achievement – large or small – is acknowledged. In addition, special awards, activities, trips, and celebration evenings provide students with unique opportunities to celebrate their growth and success.

At Haileybury Turnford, we are committed to creating a culture where hard work, community spirit, and personal achievement are not only encouraged but celebrated in meaningful and rewarding ways.
