National recognition in this year’s National Teaching Awards

HT is delighted to announce that we have received national recognition for our school community in this year’s National Teaching Awards.

We have been awarded with two Certificates of Excellence:

The Award for Making a Difference – Secondary School of the Year

The Award for Unsung Hero for Mrs Carter, for her work with Year 11

HFL Education Wellbeing Quality Mark

HT were thrilled to receive the Wellbeing Quality Mark and recognition from HFL Education, who work closely with schools in Hertfordshire.

The feedback we received highlighted that this achievement “demonstrates the school’s commitment to the ongoing support and development of student wellbeing.  Haileybury Turnford is cultivating a culture of respect where students feel valued and heard, and where their mental health and wellbeing are prioritised through fostering an inclusive school environment … the school provides a safe and secure environment where all students have equitable access to resources, opportunities, and support”.

We are incredibly proud to be recognised by both the National Teaching Awards and HFL Education for our dedication to our students and the entire school community.

Thank you for all you continue to do to support us – it is greatly appreciated.
