The Scholars Programme
Haileybury Turnford is working in partnership with the ‘Brilliant Club’ to offer a select group of students an opportunity to work on The Scholars Programme. The Brilliant Club is an award winning non-profit organisation which exists to widen access to top universities for outstanding students from non-selective state schools (www.thebrilliantclub.org). This is a chance for students to gain the knowledge, skills and ambition to help them secure places at top universities. During the programme, students will work with a PhD tutor who is a world class researcher.
Students will take part in six university style tutorials on a ‘super-curricular’ topic related to the PhD tutor’s area of expertise. There will also be two visits to highly selective universities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to experience a university style approach. There is no cost to parents but it will require a high level of commitment from our students.
