We are so proud of our Sixth Form students who sat vocational exams in January, with many Merit and Distinction grades achieved. Our students sat these exams in January when there was much disruption to education and uncertainty around the exams situation due to a very high incidence of COVID-19 cases in the local area and across the country.
As a school, we felt that it was right to offer them the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and understanding as they had been preparing for many months. Our students did not have to sit the exams, but many that were able to do so, did. We could not be more thrilled with the outcomes. Our students have shown us that even in very challenging circumstances they are tremendously resilient and are able to be successful.
